Abortion. It's Pro-Choice for whom?

I read an interesting article on abortion and it started me thinking along these lines.
Why do they call abortion, pro-choice? People that take the "pro-choice" stand would be more accurate to say they are "pro woman's choice". The unborn child does not have a choice. They are totally and utterly reliant on the parents to make their choices for them until they mature as a human being. Perhaps abortion isn't so much about women's rights and more about civil rights. The wonderful creation inside a mother-to-be (if not denied) will quite possibly grow up to be the most wonderful person in their parent's life. Doesn't this wonderful creation deserve a chance to become a gift and treasure to people's lives? Ultimately I believe many women have abortions because they are selfish or are pressured. They want to have a responsibility free life, and have sex. They want to party or they want to have a career and they don't want a child to slow them down. I think many men pressure woman to have abortions for the same reason. Why is it so hard for people to get that when you start a sexual relationship with someone you start a responsibility.
